OBEPINE+ set 5 mains goals:

• Create a national platform bringing together the public and private actors involvedin wastewater epidemiology research
• Design and share innovative tools for detection, quantification and genetic characterization of pathogens in wastewater
• Design and share modelling tools that cross-reference data from water used and population-based data
• Offering a state-of-the-art platform to develop and host R&D projects academic and industrial research in wastewater epidemiology
• Contribute to organizing an effective link between research (OBEPINE+) and surveillance (Sum'eau) in the wastewater, in order to prepare for crises (from the proof of concept to the deployment of national surveillance).
